The Comet i-NIC-2 is an intelligent NIC which mounts a Comet Network Processor (NP) for packet processing. There are two versions of it.
The Comet i-NIC-2-alpha is an old version of the Comet i-NIC-2. It is a PCI long card which mounts SA110 233MHz for a control CPU, and two PMC connectors. Its host and internel PCI are 64bit/33MHz. The Comet i-NIC-2-alpha is used for IPsec evaluation and Comet DVIPsec.
The Comet i-NIC-2 is a 2/3 size (21cm) PCI card. The host PCI is 64bit/66MHz and the internal PCI is 64bit/66MHz. One PMC connector is mounted. Control CPU is SA1110 206MHz.
